Things About Her

Camila Parrao was born in Melipilla, Chile in 2000.

In all her life, she went to two schools. First from pre-kinder to 8th grade at Colegio Cristobal Colón de Melipilla and later, in the rest of secondary, at Colegio Maitenes, located in the same city.

Then, after her graduation, she was influenced by his father and, as she didn’t know what she wanted to study, in 2018 she entered engineering at University Federico Santa Maria, located in Valparaiso. It was good, for a couple of months, but then there was strike that helped her to realize that she wasn’t happy in that place.

She started to study for the PSU again and, in that time, she thought options to study with calm and patience. For some time, the only thing that Camila knew was that she wanted something related to medicine and biology. Finally, her parents were not too happy with her choice, but there was no doubt that veterinary medicine was all that she wanted. That was what she started to study in the University of Chile at Campus sur in 2019.

Until her first year, she only can say that there are so many thing that have made her happy. Especially her new four friends that make her laugh every day and, also, the security that she is starting something that will make her feel proud in the future.

The only problem with that is that she's far away from her home, even if it's just from Monday to Friday, because she's always missing her mom, dad, little bro and Grandfather, four of the five members of her family (the other one, her big sister, lives in Arica, because is a Navy woman).

Camila is always waiting for the weekend because of that, to be at home, to do all the things that she likes to do. Play with her animals, draw and paint everything that she wants, see movies with her brother, help her Grandpa with his plants and even help her parents working in the family poultry.
